The Principality of Seridovia, in the exercise of its sovereign authority and in recognition of the fundamental right of nations to determine the composition of their citizenry, hereby enacts the following law governing the acquisition, maintenance, and loss of Seridovian citizenship.
Art. 1 — Seridovian citizenship is the formal legal bond between a natural person and the Principality of Seridovia, conferring rights and imposing obligations as established by this and other applicable laws.
Art. 2 — Citizenship may be acquired by: (a) application and approval through the official government portal; (b) recognition of special merit by the Prince of Seridovia; (c) birth to at least one Seridovian citizen parent, subject to formal registration.
Art. 3 — Applicants for citizenship must be at least 13 years of age, agree to the terms of the Citizenship Oath, and provide accurate personal information as required during the registration process.
Art. 4 — All citizens are entitled to: (a) receive official Seridovian identification documents; (b) participate in national life, consultations, and cultural activities; (c) access government services available to citizens; (d) represent Seridovia in diplomatic and cultural events.
Art. 5 — All citizens are obligated to: (a) uphold the Constitution and laws of Seridovia; (b) conduct themselves with dignity and honour in representing the Principality; (c) maintain accurate contact information in the citizen registry.
Art. 6 — Citizenship may be revoked by the government in cases of: (a) submission of fraudulent information during application; (b) conduct gravely contrary to the values of the Principality; (c) formal voluntary renunciation submitted in writing.
Art. 7 — This law enters into force on the date of its promulgation and supersedes any prior provisions concerning citizenship criteria.
