The reputation and integrity of the Principality of Seridovia depend on the conduct of its citizens and officials. This law establishes minimum standards of behaviour expected of all members of the Seridovian community.
Art. 1 — All citizens of Seridovia are expected to conduct themselves with respect, dignity, and honesty in all interactions related to the Principality, whether in public, online, or at official events.
Art. 2 — The following conduct is incompatible with Seridovian citizenship: (a) deliberate public defamation of the Principality or its institutions; (b) harassment or abuse of other citizens or government officials; (c) impersonation of government representatives; (d) deliberate disruption of official government activities.
Art. 3 — Government officials are held to a higher standard of conduct. Officials must act impartially, avoid conflicts of interest, and refrain from using their position for personal gain.
Art. 4 — Reports of conduct violations may be submitted to the Ministry of Justice. All reports shall be reviewed and a determination made within a reasonable period.
Art. 5 — Sanctions for conduct violations may include: (a) formal warning; (b) temporary suspension of citizen services; (c) citizenship review leading to possible revocation, as governed by the Citizenship and Nationality Act.
Art. 6 — Citizens subject to a conduct review shall be notified and given a reasonable opportunity to respond before any sanction is imposed.
Art. 7 — The Ministry of Justice shall publish an annual summary of conduct reviews conducted, without identifying information, to ensure transparency.
