Seridovian Constitution Marks First Anniversary
May 10, 2025
One year has passed since the ratification of the Constitution of the Principality of Seridovia — the founding legal document that establishes the rights of all citizens, the structure of government, and the principles by which the nation is governed.
To mark the occasion, official ceremonies were held across the Principality's digital institutions, including a public reading of the Preamble and a formal address from the Office of the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister remarked: "A constitution is not merely a legal text — it is a living covenant between a people and their government. On this anniversary, we reaffirm our commitment to every word within it."
The Constitution of Seridovia, ratified on May 10, enshrines fundamental rights including freedom of expression, equality before the law, the right to civic participation, and the right to official identification. It also establishes the role of the Prince as head of state, the Prime Minister as head of government, and the legislative and judicial functions of the state.
Citizens were invited to participate in a commemorative forum hosted by the Ministry of Justice, in which the constitutional provisions were discussed and questions from the community were addressed by government representatives.
The Constitution is publicly available in the Legislative Registry on the official government portal, and is distributed in full to all newly registered citizens as part of their civic welcome package.
